Red White & Snowy Christmas

Hello Friends, I made this card to cover a few challenges. When I saw this lovely Santa from Digital Delights I just had to colour him in and use him for this project. There are so many wonderful challenges this week on my favourite season of the year, I just love Christmas, I've always loved it but even more so now that I have Grandchildren. I always made Christmas special for my own children but now can take the time to make it even more special for my Grandchildren, so all these lovely challenges that include snow, Santa, merry & bright etc etc are just up my street. I have made this card for 5 challenges, just the colour gets me in the Christmas mood, red white green glitter etc. So here are the challenges that Santa is entering:

1. Die Cut Dreams Challenge 22: The lovely vikki has come up with a great sketch this week and a theme as well of Snowy. I've followed the sketch and added snow tex under Santa's feet. Hope you and Susie like my effort.
2. Doodle Palace Challenge: Laura who won the challenge a couple of weeks ago has chosen the theme and it is a Red & White Christmas Card, you can follow her sketch if you wish but it's not necessary. Thank you for the theme it's just great.
3. Cupcake Craft Challenge 65: The theme this week is Snow Much Fun, the challenge is to produce snow somewhere on you project, my snow is under Santa's feet.
4. Charisma Cardz Challenge 45 : The theme this week is Merry & Bright, to help you along with your Christmas Cards, I think Santa is always merry & bright.
5. Papertake Weekly Challenge: The theme this week is Digisparkle, and the sponsor this week is just fantastic, they are being sponsored by none other than Digisparkle and the prize is one month of free downloads of their fab digi images, now how cool is that. All you have to do is have something Digi on your project and something sparkly. I've used sparkly ribbon and sparkly stars. Hope that's okay girls.

I've really enjoyed these challenges because I love Christmas, I am really looking forward to it. Hope you all are too.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 25 DT Card (Recipe )

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all having a fab week so far, This is my DT card for C.R.A.F.T. Challenge which this week has a recipe of 1 ribbon, 1 tag and 1 sentiment. A nice easy challenge, I chose to make another dent in my Christmas Card List and I wanted to keep the colours traditional as this will be going to an older relative who is quite traditional, bless her, she can't be doing with all this modern stuff "her words not mine". The paper is absolutely gorgeous, my daughter gave it to me as she had lots left over from last Christmas, I don't know the name but I know she got it from QVC I used glitter on the stars just to lift it and give it a bit of bling.

I love the image, it was a digital sheet bought from my local craft shop and I used 3 of my scallop nesties to give it some dimension. I cut the tag from a piece of white card, I used the same paper to cover it and printed the sentiment from my computer. The little snowmen on the inside are from Anitas Xmas collection.

Thank you so much for visiting, I do hope you will come and join us at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week. We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Donna's Den of Crafts and the prize is a gorgeous bundle of Christmas goodies.

Hi Friends, I made this gift set to cover a few challenges, but it is also going to a friend quit e soon when her birthday comes along on (Xmas Day!!) The box is 12cm in diameter about 4 x 4 inches, it belonged to one of my Grandsons who got it with a happy meal from you know where, they are twins so have two of everything and I was looking for a box to alter and they said I could have one of their boxes, so sweet until I heard one tell the other that the game was rubbish anyway. Little Monkeys that they are. It was just the right size for some lovely fruity sweets. I quite like the finished set. The challenges they are entering are:

Stamp Something For Jaimie

This card has been made specifically for Jaimie Cates and her Father who sadly lost his Wife and Jaimie her Mother to a senseless act of Random Violence in their own home. 4 Teenagers broke into the family home and killed Kim Cates and wounded little 11yr old Jaimie. Over at
Stamp Something Challenge Blog they have a challenge that invites you to make a card for Jaimie and her Father to show some love, which this child and her Father are going to need in abundance . The theme is 1 ribbon, 2 papers, 3 embellishments. I really can't say much more but as a Mother and Grandmother my heart goes out to this little girl and her Father who have a long road ahead of them without someone they loved very much. All the details of where to send your card are on the blog.

You can also enter your card into Stamp Something Spread the love for Jaimie blog.

Please Please, make a card for this little girl and help her in the healing process which should not be necessary at this time in her young life.

Thanks

1 Card 1 Ornament 6 challenges

Hi Friends, I made this card and Christmas tree ornament/gift bag for a few challenges. They are for a friend who visits me every year on the 26th Dec, we have always exchange cards and gifts on that day, so this is for her. I know she will love what I put inside that little ornament but don't worry she won't see it, she has no interest in computers and doesn't own one. I was originally making it for a couple of new challenge blogs that have started up this week with their first ever challenges. Susie's Sassy fortnightly challenge and Magical Crafts fortnightly challenge. But my little creation falls into the category for a few others too so in total they are going into 6 challenges, and they are:

1. Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge: MMSC26 Once again the sketch for this week is just fab and the DT cards are exceptional as always.
2. Susie's Sassy Challenge: This is Susie's 1st challenge at the new fortnightly challenge blog and she has chosen the theme of Christmas. The new DT have come up trumps for her with their projects.
3. Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge: This is Angel's 1st challenge too and she has a double challenge if you want to take it up. A Christmas card in Red, Green & Gold, + a Christmas ornament. If you choose to do both then you will be entered in the draw twice. The DT have done a marvelous job with their examples.
4. The Crafty Pad Challenge: I was privileged to be a GDT member for the month of October, and it was a fab experience but now I can enter the challenge again and support Debbie & the team. The theme this week is a Colour one of Green, Red & Gold.
5. SophistiCat Challenge: The lovely Cheryl has chosen the theme this week of Ribbons & Buttons. Again the DT have come up with some gorgeous examples.
6. Creative Card Crew Challenge: The theme this week was set by Sam and she would like to see Ribbons and Gems.
Thank you so much for visiting I do appreciate it very much. Do come back and see me soon.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 24 Bonfire Night/Fireworks/Celebrate

Hi Friends, Over at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge this week the theme is
Bonfire Night/Fireworks/Celebrate. For our friends across the pond we have a tradition on the 5th of November, we build huge bonfires, put an effigy of Guy Fawkes on the top ( he tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament) and we set light to the bonfire and burn him, I know it's strange!!!! not my cup of tea, but we also have a display of fireworks during the proceedings, which is lovely to watch and of course lovely warm food, cause it's really cold here now. It's up to you which of the themes you choose. I've opted for celebrate with a glittery firework display on the front of the card. I designed the paper in card factory and used galmour dust on the tendrils, added black gossamer ribbon and a few gemstones. The sentiment is heat embossed.

Hope you will come over and join us, the sponsor this week is Susie from Sassy Studios Die Cut dreams and the prize is a selection of her gorgeous die cuts. Mmmm........ wish I could enter cause they are just scrummy.

Look forward to commenting on your creations.
