Revamped Graphic45 Place in Time Mini Album

Hello my dears,  I made a mini Album last week using some Graphic 45 papers called Place in Time.  I made it first with the idea of holding it together using large metal binding rings,  but when I finally managed to find the rings I just didn't like how it looked.

So I had a dilemma !!!!!!  I had already punched all the holes for the rings (here is an example)
how do I save this album and make it more beautiful!!!!

Easy Peasy!!!  re-do the front & back covers, make a spine with and accordion page holder, take all the pockets off of each page and cut off the side with the 3 punch holes. Bwaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

I only lost about 1/4" from the side, which gave me an opening to attach to the page holder.  Anyway if you scroll down you will see my now revamped and much prettier mini album.

Below is the revamped Album

Front Cover of album which has been decorated with various mediums, Memory Box honeycomb stencil,  Cheery Lynn small flourish die, Martha Stewart Butterfly punches. Heartfelt Creations Vintage morning background flower stamp and Vintage morning Die. Wild Orchid Crafts small roses.

Magnolia-licious DT - Background/Accessory/Animal stamps only

Good Morning my dears,  Well it's time for another fabulous challenge over at

Magnolia-licious Challenge

for the next fortnight we want to see all your
Accessory/animal/background Magnolia Stamps
No Tilda's or Edwin's please.

I made this card and treat box back in May for a dear friend that we go on holiday with every year.  Matt and Jean are huge cat lovers (they have 3) so this stamp was ideal for Matt's card and his wee box full of chocolate.

I've masked the Tea plant stamp 3 times and added that sweet Napoleon, they've all been coloured with copics and Derwent pencils for shading.  The box was made from textured bazzil card so was a little more difficult to stamp and colour, but I'm pleased with the effect.  Matt loved it when I gave him them while we were on holiday in Majorca.  Seems like a lifetime away now. lol.

Anyway that all from me for now my dears, but please do pop over to Magnolia-licious and take a peek at the fabulous creation my sweet DT friends have made for you this time.  Stunning just doesn't cut it.

Our random prize winner will of course receive a fabulous mystery prize for our lovely Diana who owns the fabulous Magnolia-licious store.  There will also be a prize for someone who leaves a comment on the main blog post or on any of the DT blog.

Altered/recycled/Up-cycled Tin

Hello my dears,  what a miserable day it's been today, rain, rain and more rain!!! oh well I suppose it could be worse!! it could be blowing a gale as well. lol

I'm here to share a project that I made just for me,  I belong to a Scrapbook class/club that my Daughter and I attend regularly and our challenge for the next meeting is to decorate a can/tin after we have thrown it in the dishwasher.  Well as I don't have a dishwasher (well I do really) his name is John!! my dear hubby.  But my Daughter has one so she kindly threw 3 tins in for me, this is one of them.  Altered to sit on my desk and hold some tools that I use a lot.

I used some pretty wallpaper to decorate the outside and inside, I then coloured up this adorable Besties image called Tickles/Butterfly Kisses.  She has been coloured using my Flex markers and Derwent pencils for shading.

The little pearl dots are a selection of some paper pearl pens that I bought a long time ago and just recently found them!!!  think I need some practise but they are bright and suit this cute image.

That's about it from me for today,  I'll be back soon though as I'm in the middle of creating another mini album, so I'll be showing that to you real soon.  Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend.

Hugs

Graphic45 Place in Time Mini Album

Good morning my dears,  I hope you are all well and looking forward to your weekend.  I need to tell you that this post is picture heavy so maybe you'd like to make a brew and have a wee biscuit too. lol

I got these Graphic45 Time in place 6x6 paper pad and chipboard elements free in a craft magazine quite a few months ago and a friend gave me her pack as they were not her cup of tea so to speak.  I've only just gotten round to creating this 6x6 mini album using all the elements and some of the G45 12 days of Christmas paper from my 6x6 pad that I hadn't gotten round to using either.

What are we like!!!  I love my papers but never want to use them.!

Anyways I'll just list the pages from Jan To Dec.  I haven't managed to actually put it together yet as I'm trying to find some extra large ring binder thingies ( I need 3) so if anyone knows where I can buy them do please let me know.

There you go my dears,  I hope you like my cute mini album, if and when I can find the rings I'll decorate the front cover and show you it assembled in all its glory.

Midweek Magnolias DT #93 Anything Goes with Summer Fun

Good morning my dears,  Our new challenge has just begun over at

This fortnight the theme is

Anything Goes with Summer Fun.

I had this book box in my things to alter cupboard so I decided to make it into a Summer Memory box for my great Niece, what little girl doesn't love to keep little bits n bobs in a pretty box,  I'm sure she will love it.

Now this was a project and a half,  I coloured most of the images

As you can see I've used lots of stamps from various collections.  The first being those pretty Tildas from the Sea Breeze 2013 collection, Autumn Sunflowers are from Turning Leaves collection 2012 and the sentiment It's Summer Time is also from the Sea Breeze 2013 collection.

I am half way through making a mini Summer themed mini album to put inside this book box but as it's not entirely finished I can only show you the front page and a couple of the inside pages. I will show you in it's entirety when it's complete.

Once again I've used multiple stamps - some from the new Summer Club Kit and some from Animal of the Year collection along with various other sweet Tilda's.

Front Cover of my Mini Album

Inside front cover and 1st page

All the images are coloured and ready to insert into the mini album I just need to finish decorating some of the pages.

I've used some of my new Doohickey Pink Vintage photo dies on the front of the book and on the inside to mount Tilda onto. you will also see the new Doohickey Club kit dies which are all nautical themed.

I nearly forgot to mention that the paper I used is actually a roll of very pretty wall paper that I got for £1.00 in B&M Bargains, I have enough left to make at least 10 other mini albums. !!!! lol

That's about it from me for now my dears.  I hope you will come over and join us, you really need to pop over to Midweek Magnolias and take a look at the amazing creation the wonderful DT have made to enthuse and motivate you, they are stunning.

Looking forward to visiting you over the next few week.

Hugs
