New Home

Well it's Monday again, the start of a new week, I woke up this morning with a determination to get some crafting done, but I'm having a bad hair day as they say. Just can't get into the swing of it today. I have managed to make one card. It's going into 3 challenges.

1. The Crafty Pad Challenge 32: The theme this week is NEW, which could be either a new stamp - new paper - new punch etc. I have used the gorgeous new stamp I won over at The Crafty Pad Challenge two weeks ago. Do pop over and visit them, Debbie designs her own stamps and has them manufactured her in the UK. She has some beauties and they are very very reasonably priced.
2. Cupcake Craft Challenge: The theme this week is Green, Pink, Brown, Animals and Flowers. Lovely combination.
3. Daring Cardmakers Challenge: This week the theme is ON THE EDGE, making use of borders using punches ribbon etc, making them stand out.

Thank you so much for visiting my little domain, please pop back and visit again.

Cake Anyone!!

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a lovely Sunday, I've been doing a bit of tidying up in my little craft space, amazing what you find that you had forgotten about. On this occasion I found a little bag of lovely buttons and some metallic thread that I bought ages ago, so I have used them on this card which is going into 4 challenges.

1. ABC Challenge: I followed the X on a sketch by the lovely DT member Helen.

2. Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge: Are looking for 2 designer papers, 1 ribbon and 3 buttons. The recipe was Donna's choice this week.

3. Pile it on Challenge: Are looking for Watercolour on your project and of course your project must be entered in at least one other challenge.

4. The Crafty Pad Challenge: Debbie's theme this week is Something New, this could be paper, stamp brad, anything that is new and you haven't used before. I've used the metallic thread and my new embossing folder.

The above sites are all fantastic in their own right, if you haven't paid them a visit then just click on their respective names, pop along and say Hello.

Thank you so much for visiting me, please pop in any time you are always welcome.

Build a Card

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and having a good week, this card was real fun to do from Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Bonus Fun: Here is what we had to do to take part

Visit the blogs of 10 Design Team members. Once you arrive on the DT blog, find the post for today's BONUS Fun and follow the instructions. You're not just blog hopping...you're actually going to make a card. Each blog will have information on what to add to your card and where to go next...and when you've visited all 10 blogs you will have created or "built" a card! Be sure to go in order so you don't miss anything!

Having followed all the instructions from the 10 DT members this is the card that was created.
Not only that, it is off to America, because the last part of the challenge is a real bonus, send the card to Priscilla and you will be entered into the draw for some beautiful stamps. I'm just hoping that it arrives on time which is before 31st July.

Thank you so much for visiting me I do hope you will pop back and see me again.

Hats Off (DT)

Over at C.R.A.F.T. challenge they are looking for a shaped card this week, so I thought this was ideal, it was one my first attempts at doing something different other than a standard card. I used pre patterned card stock and shaped it using a score board, I then added 2" ribbon and made the paper flowers using various contrasting papers. They are also looking for 2 new design team members and someone to take over the challenge blog. Pop over and have a look it's a gorgeous blog with some fab DT members.
