Red & Green Christmas

Hi Friends, I made this card for one challenge because the theme intrigued me, but it has ended up being eligible for 6 challenges. Isn't this image so.... cute, she is called Cherry Kisses, love that name and she is from Pollycrafts. Let me tell you about the challenges this little beauty is entering.
1. Pollycrafts Monday Challenge: What a challenge it is too. The title is 5"S" words, when translated means. Snowflakes - Spots - Stripes - Swirls - Sparkle. You need only pick two of the five if you wanted, I thought I'd go for them all. Spots are on my paper and ribbon. Stripes are on the paper as are the swirls, snowflake is on the brad next to Cherry, and the sparkle is on Cherry's hat jacket and trousers. What a great challenge this was. Thank you girls.
2. Friday Sketchers Challenge: The fab sketch came from Jeanette this week, there is an option if you want to take it and it's to include distressing on your project.
3. Die Cut Dreams Challenge: The theme over at Susies is to include Ribbon and Trims. Do pop over and have a peek, there is a whole new bunch of DT's coming to join Susie & Vikki, so even more exciting times ahead.
4. A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge: The theme this week is Christmas. Once again a fab challenge blog with lots of great DT work to encourage you.
5. Simon Says Challenge: Another great challenge blog, Simon had over 200 entries last week so the bar has been set, lets go for 250 this week. The theme this week is Red & Green.
6. Doodle Palace Challenge: This is my first time entering this challenge, boy do they have a lot going on over there, great candy and challenges and lovely things to buy too. The challenge this week has been set by the lovely Jude from Crafts International and it's to create a Christmas Card with traditional Red & Green with the following attachments, 1 ribbon, 2 papers, 3 brads and 4 flowers.

Well I think that's enough for now. Remember to visit all these lovely blogs all you need do is click on the name. Thank you for visiting, hope you come back and see me soon.

Christmas Hanging Ornament

Hi Friends, here is little something that I've made for a challenge. Not my normal style, but I really enjoy getting away from the "Normal" sometimes. The only problem was photographing it. Nightmare!! It's been so dull and grey here the past couple of days and cold to boot. Had to put the heating on this afternoon and the lamps to give some light in the room. Any way enough of the miserable weather. Hope you all had a lovely day. These are the challenge that my ornament is for: Just to put the picture into prospective the ornament is 18" long.

1. Peach Keen Stamps Challenge: If you haven't been over to visit this lovely blog then you don't know what you are missing, there is lots going on including Candy, challenges etc.
The theme this week is to create a hanging ornament and it must have gold on it and a stamped image. I've used gold ribbon, gold glimmer dust on Tilda's wings, gold on the mini star and gold glimmer mist on my leaf. I think that's enough gold. Hehehe

To put the picture into prospective it is 16" long.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit, I really appreciate it. Do leave me a comment cause I love to read your opinions.

Pure Innocence

Hiya Friends, Hope you all had a nice weekend. I made this sweet little card for the
Simon Says Challenge which this week is to include stitching in your card. I used my red glitter pen, sadly my sewing machine has died on me. I think I need to invest in one of those lovely little ditty ones. The old one took up too much room. I will hopefully be back with another card before the day is out. Thank you for coming to visit me and I hope you come back and see me soon.

Hot Chocolate treat

There is nothing like a cup of hot chocolate when the weather is changing to remind us that Autumn is just around the corner. I made this card for quite a few challenges, 7 in total. Sadly this is the last image I have of Willow drinking her hot chocolate, I received it in an image swap over at Trimcraft where I am a member. I will definitely need to find the stamp, it's one of my favourite woj stamps. So if anyone is having a clear out and is selling some of their stamps do let me know. Anyway here are the fab challenges she is entering.

1. Sunday Sketch & Stamp: I followed the lovely sketch by Arianne this week.
2. Winter Wonderland Challenge: This week the theme is Hot Chocolate.
3. Creative Card Crew Challenge: The theme this week is to decorate the inside of your card.
4. Cute Daisy May Challenge: Are looking for Texture, either embossing, ribbon, lace etc, in fact anything that is kinda touchy feelie.
5. Ooh-la-la-Creations Challenge: The theme this week is Shades of Autumn and to me Autumn is browns, oranges, creams.
6. Stamp Something Challenge: This month they are having a Favourite. Last week it was favourite colours/papers. This week it is Favourite Sketch/layout. I love this type of layout where the image is just off centre and at an angle.
7. Creative Inspirations Challenge: This weeks theme is Autumn/Fall. To me the colours I have chosen remind me of Autumn.

Well my dear friends, that's me for today, no more cards/projects to upload, so I will use up some of my time visiting my friends and looking for more inspiration. Thank you all so much for visiting and giving me such confidence in my projects.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 18 No Backing Paper

Good morning Friends, This is my DT card for the challenge this week over at C.R.A.F.T. This week the challenge is to use no backing paper. Not as easy as you think, but I'm sure you will agree that the design team have come up with some gorgeous examples. Do pop over and have a look. Our sponsor this week is the lovely Debbie from The Crafty Pad. I have used one of the gorgeous stamps (Ted pulling Sled) which is available now along with a wonderful selection of stamps designed by Debbie. Do pop along to have a look and treat yourself.
I cut round the image and attached blue thread to the sled and Teds hand, I also used Ted on his own for the inside of the card and chalked it with pastel blue.

I am also entering my little ted into two challenges and they are:

The Crafty Pad Challenge 38 GDT Card

Hi Friends, I had the privilege and pleasure of being 1 of the GDT's members over at
The Crafty Pad challenge blog this week, I was joined by the lovely Sarah my fellow GDT member who is a very talented and upcoming card maker considering she is a sweet 9 years of age. We both used Debbie's own gorgeous stamps which are available on the blog. You really must pop over and have a peek. The new Xmas range of stamps are just gorgeous as are all the other lovely stamps. This week the challenge is to use at least one circle and the colour purple.

I made my circles into Christmas Baubles, and attached glitter threads. I used the cute Ted pulling his sled as my image, isn't he just the cutest little guy. I am also entering my card into One Stop Craft Challenge: the theme this week is Beary Nice - include a Ted/Bear in your project.

I will have another card for you later, I'm just putting the finishing touches to it. So pop back later and have a look. Thank you for taking the time to visit, I really appreciate it.

Autumn/ Fall Days

It's definitely on it's way, Autumn that is. I even put on the central heating last night, the temperature just plummeted. I made this card for 3 challenges. I decided to stay with greens, browns and golds. Think it's turned out quite nice. I had an old pearl necklace which I had broken up a few months ago, so I used the beads to make a charm, I took the wire out of the attached ribbon and used that to attach it and wrapped it round a pretty little rose. The Butterflies are from spellbinders. I embossed them and using my brown and green chalk sticks I distressed them. The challenges I am entering are:

1. Our Creative Corner Challenge: The theme this week is Happy Fall Y'all, make a Fall/Autumn card.
2. La-La Land Crafts Challenge: The theme this week is to use at least 3 embellishments, I have used Ribbon, Rose, Pearls and buttons.
3. A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge: The theme this week is Fall into Autumn. They would like to see your take on Autumn.

Thank you so much for visiting, I do look forward to reading your comments and I appreciate your opinions very much.
