WOYWW 63 - NOT A LOT!!!

Sorry I haven't been on for a couple of weeks - life has been a bit hectic.

I can't show you what's on my actual workspace - it's an on going project for this Friday and it isn't dry yet, I can't move it because I have badly stained purple fingers, so I thought I'd show you a little bit of my work room.

More important is what's sitting on my kitchen work space in the first picture and has given me my purple fingers. I spent most of the day yesterday picking veg from my garden and this morning boiling and peeling beetroot ready for pickling. Shelling peas, washing potatoes, silver skin onions, green beans, carrots, garlic, aubergine, turnip and courgettes. Not a bad yield considering I only started seriously with my veg plot last year.

I still have the second picture to prepare yet. So I'm off to finish it now.

Do pop over to Julia's (Stamping Ground) who started all of this and see her nice tidy desk this week.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday -

Suzi x

Yummy Suzi - what a wonderful selection of vegetables. Didn't have too much luck this year with mine - don't think they liked all the falling debris from the roof.....Cheers Claire x

Oh Suzi, how really cool is your craft room! I'd love to spend time in there - I just know I'd make something spectacular like you do! What a fantastic garden you have with these wonderfully delight and yummy vegies! How cool is that?! It even makes me wish to have a garden until I remember that someone would have to tend to it, right - like weeding and...if I see a bug, there goes my garden experience. But I sure love fresh vegetables! :-)

Suzi - two views to die for - your room is fab fab fab and your produce is a dream - no doubt it will taste as good as it photographed - your creative energy is really well spent in the garden!

This is a killer post! What a great craft room. I would love to play here. Your produce is also awesome. Mine all died from the excessive heat and drought we've had here. Sorry I'm late visiting, but I contracted a computer virus. It's still not fixed, but I had to make sure I wasn't infecting anyone. Happy belated WOYWW.

Hi Suzi - you have a fab and inviting craft room!
On the veg front, I remember the pickling of beetroot from when I lived in France - my top tip, provided you're not allergic to latex, is to invest in a box of disposable latex gloves. Aside from them being useful in the craft room occasionally, you'll keep your hands purple free when doing the beets. A godsend when the doorbell goes..... LOL

Are you sure you didn't stop at the Farmer's Market before you took this photo? Everything looks SO bountiful. I'm about the color of those perfectly round little peas right now!
