I loved making this with all the pretty flowers, papers and the digital image is utterly adorable from Prairie Fairy Designs
I paper pieced the dresses and the lace is so so pretty..

I love the clean crisp feel of this card with sweet Tilda, pretty snowflakes and those lovely flowers again from Wild Orchid Crafts.
A pretty card with lots to view. Love the hAnglar stAnglar images.

One of my very favourite Sugar Nellie Christmas Images, and the first one I've coloured using Tim Holtz Distress inks.

I love easel cards, and enjoyed making this using different nestie's and distrssing inks, I even made the little heart from scratch.

Digi Doodle Shop's Bes t#39 Anything Goes GDT Card

Good morning everyone,  This is my last Guest Design spot for Digi Doodle Shop's Best.   It's been absolutely lovely to work with Karen (Head DT Co-ordinator) and the lovely DT.  I've thoroughly enjoyed working with the fantastic digital images provided by Digi Doodle.

This week the challenge is running for 2 weeks and the theme is Anything Goes.  I've used the beautiful Poppy & Bud image available Here. I printed it off and then used my beaded oval nestie to frame it.  Coloured with Staedler Water Pencils. It's quite a simple card for me, no flowers or glitter etc but I do like it. The lovely vibrant red paper is from Karrs X-mas collection and the little butterfly's are from a Martha Stewart punch.  The rest of my recipe is below this post.

Wishing you all a wonderful day. I'm off out now with the twins to deliver Christmas cards to some of  our family and then we are off to Frankie and Benny's for some lunch.  I will see you all later when they are tucked up in bed.

White Christmas

Good Morning,  Well the snow is back, not quite as heavy as predicted but there is a lot more to come.  It went down to -10 last night Br...........  it was cold especially with the wind chill factor too.

I made a white card last week for one of my SIL's  and thought it would be nice to make the other two a similar one.  I've used sweet sneaky Tilda yet again.  Can't help it, she is one of my fave at the moment. I'll get on and make the other one later today and probably post it tomorrow.

I embossed a plain white card with drip drop folder and then added a doohickey doily lace die. Tilda has been coloured using water colour pencils and pro markers for the skin tones and hair.  I've added lots of lovely snowflakes from a Marianne D's die and glittered them all with Glamour dust from decoart.  The rest of my recipe is below this post.

I still can't quite believe that this time next week it will be Christmas Eve.  I wonder what Santa will bring me this year. What!!!  do you mean, of course I still believe in Santa. lol

Tida Takes Centre Stage

Wanted to show you the embossing under the paper curtains

Hello my Dears,  I hope I find you all well and happy.  The snow has just about gone now oh but it's bitterly cold today.  I'm so glad that I don't have to go out.  I've made this card today for quite a few challenges.  I've used one of my favourite Tilda's from the Christmas collection this year.  I love her to bits.  I started the card off by embossing a plain white square card and then cut out the curtain shapes from Karrs special collection paper and glued them on to give the effect of a stage.  I then used pink glitter board to make the little platform at the bottom.

Sneaky Tilda has been coloured with Pro Markers and then stickles added to her little frills, mounted her on an oval nestie and added lace all around the edge. The little heart is vellum and I stamped my sentiment onto it and added liquid pearls around it. You can find the rest of my recipe for the card at the bottom of this post.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and week.  I will see you all a little later when I do my visiting.  Thank you for popping in to see me.

Winter Wonderland - It is in Scotland!!

Oh my goodness !!! what a day we have had here in the West of Scotland. everything has come to a standstill

The roads are gridlocked, the airports are closed, the trains and buses are no longer running and no one can even venture outside their front door.  We have had the heaviest snowfall that I've ever seen here and believe me I've lived a long time.!!!!   I cannot believe how bad it is. There is no public transport so people who made it to work this morning are stranded as the snow started about 10.00am and it hasn't stopped since.  Visibility is down to near zero. Thousands of people are stranded in cars and even some schoolchildren are having to spend the night in their schools because they couldn't get transport to take them home.

I was supposed to go grocery shopping today as we are down to the bare minimum, so it's black tea and coffee, no bread, no sugar and the few things I keep for emergencies in the freezer have gone !!!!! we are now using the few items such as dry pasta, tinned tomatoes, soup, beans etc that we have in the cupboard.

But at least we are at home and have heat and a bed to sleep in!!!!!!!

Anyway enough of my meanderings, here's a little card I've made for a few challenges.  I followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl which has the option of snowflakes and I've used the adorable Winter Wonderland image. Coloured her with TH distress inks, used some wonderful papers from dovecraft's Jolly Holly Christmas.  My full recipe for the card is below this post.

I do hope that you are all in a safe place if you're having this dreadful weather.  I'll pop back later after I concoct something up for dinner.  In the mean time have a wonderful evening.
