Good Morning All, Some of you will already know that my Great Niece had a beautiful little boy last week, he is still in the special baby unit as he was 13 weeks early and only weighed 3lb14oz. It's one week on and he is up to 4lbs, Donna held him for the very first time yesterday, but it will still be a while before he comes home to his new Mum. We just need to wait for him to put on a little more weight, but he is doing fine.
Anyway I wanted to make them both a little something and after asking Donna the colour scheme of the baby's nursery ( Coffee, gold, white ) so this is what I've come up with. The top half is for Donna and the bottom half is for Baby Dylan.
The papers are all from Trimcraft ranges, the little decoupage bear is called Fizzy Moon, the verse and Dylan's name I printed off the computer and the oval sentiment is from TLC. Ribbon is from stash. MS heart border punch and Marianne D's corner and butterfly die's. Everything has been distressed with Tim Holtz tea dye ink.
Now that she has it and loves it. I can enter it into the following challenges:
Simon Says Challenge: Something for a Child this week
Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge: Use Die's punches and of course ribbons
One Stitch at a Time Challenge: A Baby theme this week
The ABC Challenge: This week the theme is Sugar n Spice, to me there's nothing as sweet as a new Baby and Mother.
Papertake Weekly Challenge: Use something truly Dimensional this week.
