Marianne's Design Divas - Mid Way Reminder

Such a Sad Day!!!

Good Morning my dears,  It's a very sad Sunday morning here over at Creative Inspirations .........................  after 4 very successful years sadly the challenge blog is closing!!!!  Sweet Jude as some of you already know has had some major health issues over the last year or so and being the trooper that she is battled on to keep the challenge going, sadly this is now just too much for her and she can no longer continue.  Cheryl, an amazing lady has been running the challenge now for a little while but along with all her many DT responsibilities and family issues this is no longer possible.

 We are all very sad that this is our last challenge but I'm so glad I've been a part of such a wonderful blog for the last 20 months. 

Anyhoo!!!  it is our final bi-weekly challenge and for all our amazing followers I do hope you will pop over and join in for the very last time.  Our theme this week is your choice of the following 3 recipe options.

I've gone for option 3  using a sweet Sarah Kay image which has been coloured with promarkers and Derwent artist pencils using sansador oils. My flowers are all hand made from the Spellbinders Rose collection die cuts. I curled the centre of each petal using my tweezers and added little pearl flat back hearts. C.R.A.F.T. #117 Colour Fiesta - Final Gdt card

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge

 It's been so lovely being back to the very 1st challenge blog that gave me my first ever DT spot.  It's been my pleasure and privilege over the last month.

This week we have a Colour Fiesta for you, we would love to see your creations using the colours in the photo above. Simples' as they say. lol.

I've used a very old paper pad from papermania (at least 2yrs old) see I knew it would come in handy.  It's my Daughters little boy Lewis's Birthday and she asked me to make him a card from my twin Grandsons.  I've used this sweet Lotv image coloured with pro markers, a couple of little clip things, a balloon and hey presto it's done.  The sentiment I created on the computer.

Pretty in Blue for Mum

Here is my second post tonight.  I made this card for a dear friends Mother at her request. Her spec was blue, cute and flowers. Mmmh!! 

I used a sweet Sarah Kay image and coloured her with pro markers and Derwent artist's pencils, I've had her for ages n ages but this is her first outing so to speak. The papers are really old K &Co. (I've made myself a promise that I need to use the mountain of papers that I have before buying anymore, this was after I bought 4 12x12 K&Co packs at the weekend.!!!!!! 

I used DCWV for the mounts and this beautiful ribbon from Bazzil. EK scallop punch, suede flowers from Dovecarft, circle punch from xcut, scallops from Nestie's. Pearl stamens from WOC, button and heart charm from my stash, ferns from spellbinders foliage die and the sentiment was made using the computer.  I also used TH broken china distress ink for the clouds.

Hi all,  well I was browsing tonight and came across my dear teamie Corry's post about becoming a full time member and challenge co-coordinator over at Tickled Pink stamps.  I am so delighted cause believe me she is one talented and enthusiastic lady as some of you may already know.  Anyhoo I've had a few tickled pink stamps for a couple of weeks and just haven't had the time to use them (shame on me!!!)  and when I noticed that the challenge only had a few hours left I knuckled down and made this wee card.

She is called Baseball Pippa and boy does she have attitude!!!  this card is going to be so perfect for a friend of ours who who is baseball mad!!!  not our usual sport here in Scotland. lol.  I promise he will get the joke sentiment!!! Rofl xx

Anyway I'm going to enter it into this weeks challenge over at Tickled Pinks Stamps which has an Anything goes theme.

THE EMERALD FAERIES GARDEN NEW RELEASE
Hi everyone

we have 2 new little faeries for Release for you today

I've made a card using the sweet Isabella, coloured her with pro markers and derwent artist pencils. I've used pale green flower soft for effect on the little mound she is sitting on.  Isn't she adorable.  Papers are from Papermania and K&Co, vintage ribbon from The Funkie Junkie (etsy store) flower is hand made using various dies, papers and some gossamer material. Sentiment is from Emerald Faerie Garden.

Using the utterly adorable Ashee, I've made a gift Tag,  now how cute is he!!!!  sitting on his little mushroom/toadstool  I'm never sure which is which lol.!!! once again I've used my pro markers and Derwent artist pencils.  My swirly banner is from a CB folder distressed with TH broken china ink. Sentiment is from Emerald Faeries Garden (Ticket) EK scallop and emboss punch and I've added a few little blue gems. Butterfly punch (can't remember the make)  and some craft work fibres finish off my creation.

Morning my dears,  It's FRIDAY!!!!! yippee!!!  and I've got the weekend off.  No Gig or studio so I'll be crafting all weekend.

I've chosen to use one of my HM stamps. Isn't he the cutest!!! I've coloured the image with Pro markers and Derwent Artist pencils. I've kept the card fairly simple but couldn't resist a bit of glitz with the red glitter board and glitter ribbon.  My friend won't mind cause he likes a bit of glitz as he is quite theatrical. lol.

C.R.A.F.T. #116 Resist Technique Gdt Card

A very good morning to you all,   This is my third week as Guest Dt over at C.R.A.F.T. challenge and it's lovely to be back here even if it's only for a short time.

Our new Challenge kicks off today and the theme is for you to create something using a Resist Technique.  Now I'm not a big fan of this method but I thought I'd give it a go.   Anyway I've used a Simply Sassy stamp from Sugar Nellie and she is called Hippie Chick, totally fabulous for my Friends 13 yr old Daughter.

The Emerald Faerie Garden #7 Birthdays DT card

Hello my lovelies,  I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend and that you have a marvelous week ahead.  Time for another fabby challenge over at The Emerald Faerie Garden and for this fortnight the theme is BIRTHDAYS.  Now how easy is that !!!

I've used the adorable Willy & Mia image (available HERE) I've also used the very new Drop Sentiments which were released yesterday and is available in store.  

My image has been coloured with pro markers and my new Derwent Artists pencils using Sansodor oil.  I'm really quite pleased with how the colours turned out as this is my first attempt at trying this medium.  It's quite time consuming but oh so therapeutic.  I used a tiny grass n flower stamp to create the garden and TH broken china distress ink for the clouds.

Good Morning All,   It's Sunday and time for another wonderful bi weekly challenge over at Creative Inspirations. This fortnight our theme is BACK TO SCHOOL.  

This will be my second corner bookmark this week, I made one for my Gdt spot over at CRAFT Challenge on Thursday but that one was for my Grandson Aaron this one is for his twin Brother Ross.  I've kept the same size but this time there is no image just sweet dome accents.  Papers are from Dovecraft and all the little additions such as the apple, crayons worm etc are all from Papermanias. I just added them along with a few coloured paper clips.
