A Beautiful Sketch

Good Morning,  I'm so excited this morning.  Why!! well in about an hours time I will be off to the SECC in Glasgow with my Daughter to browse the hundreds of stalls all selling lovely craft goodies and I have a shopping list to break my bank managers heart.

I'm also meeting up with some of the girls from Sugar Nellie over on facebook, Debbi Glen is demonstrating her fab colouring skills with Pro markers, it's going to be a lovely day out.  But before I toddle off I wanted to show you another sweet Tilda card that I've made,  and once again getting lots of inspiration from some amazing challenge blogs.

I've used Tilda with large bow from last years Christmas release and merged her with the Magnolia Wrapped Christmas Presents stamp.  She has been coloured with a mixture of Pro markers and Derwent Water colour pencils.  The full recipe for my card is below this post.

I will say though that I haven't made an A5 card in years but the sketch I followed over at Midnight Madness just lent itself to this size.

Anyone for Cake !!

Hello my dears,  It's Monday!!!!  and as the saying goes "I don't like Mondays" very much.  It means another 5 days until the weekend.

It's very cold wet and windy here where I live in Bonny Scotland, which means I've had time to do a little crafting just for me.  My Mojo has gone on holiday and left me behind to fend for myself. lol.   I needed some help with this card and turned to blogger and some of my favourite blogs to look for inspiration.

I found a wonderful sketch over at the new Quixotic Paperie Inspirations monthly challenge and a fab game of Bingo at Lili of the Valley.  I chose the line with  Gems, Distressing and pins.  What more does a girl need. I haven't added a sentiment as yet because I don't know who is going to receive it.

My image is from Lili of the Valley and was part of loads of images free from a magazine, it's slightly bigger than my stamp but it was so very convenient, all I had to do was colour her, which I've done with Pro Markers and Derwent water pencils, as said previously I followed the sketch from Quixotic Inspirations challenge this month.  A full recipe is below this post for my ingredients.

I would like to enter the following Challenges:

Lili of the Valley Challenge:  A wee Game of Bingo this week. I chose Gems, Distressing and Pins. (the pin was made by me)
Make it Monday Challenge:  Anything Goes.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit me. I hope you'll come back and see me again soon.

Clean and Simple

Good Morning, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  I wanted to show you another CAS card that I've made using die cuts, embossing folder and 3 merged stamps.  Most of you know that I very rarely do Clean and Simple. lol.  I love my embellishments, but you know I quite like this style of card considering the only embellishment is some netting.

My stamps are all from Magnolia, trees, wrapped presents and giggling Tilda.  I've coloured them with Pro markers and Derwent artist pencils. The wee sentiment is from my stash. A little Glamour dust on the snow and the netting finishes it off.

I would like to enter the following Challenges:

Do You Stack Up Challenge:  Would like to see Trees this week
One Stop Craft Challenge: No Designer Paper this week
Totally Gorjuss Challenge:  A Pastel Christmas
Little Claire's Challenge: Christmas this week
Crafty Anne's Challenge:  Clean and Simple this week.

Trick or Treat

Hi All,  It's nearly that time of year when all the ghouls n ghost's will be running around the streets in search of sweeties, monkey nuts and candy of some sort.   lol xx

My older Grandchildren don't participate anymore but the twins (7) still love it. This little acetate bag that I've made is for Aaron's "girlfriend"  poor wee Ross doesn't have one at the moment he says they are too "complicated" lol.

Anyway I used my hougie score board and a couple of sheets of acetate to create the goodies bag, the papers inside are just some left over bits I found in my scrap drawer.  The creepy moon and cat were created on my computer, cut out and stuck on. The little fence is a sizzix die.  I've used two sweet Tilda's coloured with pro markers placing one inside the acetate and the other is on a doohickey die.  I shredded some purple shiny paper to put inside.  I think she will love it, especially when I fill it with googly chocolate eyes and skeletons. hehehe!!

Thank you for popping in to visit. Do leave me a few words to let me know you were here.

Challenges Entered:

Fussy and Fancy Challenge: Fall or Halloween
House of Gill Challenge: Pick 3 Colours from Black/White.Orange/Green.
