Chillax as they say !!!

Hello again my lovelies,  Well I didn't think I would get the chance to play along with House Mouse & Friends Challenge, who are celebrating their 1,000 + followers with a wonderful Blog Hop and a  theme of Liquid  Refreshment for Hot Summer Days.

I found time today to play with my little meece's because the weather is still dreadful!!! flooding, wind, chilly I can't believe we are only a few days away from July and we are still waiting for Summer to make an appearance.

 Anyway I used my rubber stamp from Chill out collection. I wanted to frame it but half of the wee flower was hidden by the frame. So I stamped the flower out another twice, coloured and cut it out to do a home made decoupage effect. I think it worked nicely.

My image has been coloured with Copics, papers are Raspberry Road designs, the lovely twirling vine frame die is from memory box.  My banner is Tattered Banners from Tim Holtz. Chill out sentiment is from HM.  Other sentiment is from my stash.

 That's all from me for today but I dare say I'll be back tomorrow with some more creations.

Wedding Tag

Hiya dear friends,  Another weekend approaches and I do hope it's a great one for you all.   The school holidays have started her in Scotland but for the next two weeks I won't be seeing my sweet Grand babies as they are off on their hols this morning.  I do hope the weather improves for them whilst they have fun in Yorkshire.

Anyway I wanted to show you my latest make.  A lovely two tier wedding tag which will go into my storage box to be used at a later date.  I've used my newest stamp from Magnolia Tilda with winding flowers.  I had to buy her after seeing Angie Hunt's beautiful card on the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog Hop. 

I cut out two tags from white corrugated card, one slightly smaller than the other so I could attach them at an angle.  I added some white acrylic paint and some snowtex and distressed them both with  TH old paper ink.   I coloured Tilda with Copics,  The large lace doily on the back is a Cheery Lynn die which I've distressed.

I'll jot down a list of ingredients at the bottom of my post for those who would like to know the recipe.

Paper Bag

A very good morning everyone, I hope your all having a wonderful week so far.  The rain is still pouring down here, the only good thing is that the gardens are looking wonderful. If only we could sit out and enjoy them. lol.

Anyway I wanted to show you my little decorated paper bag.  I love giving my friends gifts in these,  I have quite a few now in my cupboard as July and August are full of Birthday's and other celebration in my family.

I've used sweet Flower Tilda from the Summer 2012 collection and coloured her with copics, I've used some lovely die's and embellishments on my bag and will put a list of ingredients at the bottom of the post if you would like to take a peek.

Well my dears, I don't know about you but I can't believe this is nearly the end of June.  The months seem to be flying by this year or maybe it's just an age thing with me now!!! lol.

It's Team B's turn to inspire and encourage you with the theme this week of Lovely Lace  we would love to see you your gorgeous lace being used somewhere on your creation.

I've used sweet Honeybee Tilda as my image and coloured her with a mixture of Copic markers and Derwent water colour pencils. I've used glamour dust to make her wings sparkle. She is sitting on two distressed circle nesti's.  I will put a list of ingredients used at the bottom of my post.  In the meantime I look forward to seeing all your beautiful lace creations over the coming week.

A simple Wedding Card

Hello my dears,   I wanted to show you the gorgeous new Kaban card that Sarah is now stocking in Craft All Day  I decided to make a wedding card from 1 sheet of this gorgeous card. I added some roses from the store too.

Colouring on Canvas

Hello everyone,  I've had some fun today, I was supposed to be at a crop with my dear friends but alas due to circumstances I had to cancel.  So I thought I would try something new.  I bought some of these sweet mini canvas bags with the intention of altering them to hold small Christmas gifts!!! I know!!! it's too early, sorry but I love to be organised and start all my festive projects early. 

I've used 3 Magnolia stamps and masked two of them them, Tilda with skates (limited edition 2011) and my Noel sentiment for Tilda to sit on. Both were coloured with copics. My To&From sentiment is a Magnolia stamp.  Top left sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps as is the bottom circular one but I only inked up half of it.

I've finished off the wee bag with a Magnolia doohickey tag die with some lace, raffia and ribbon. Oops! nearly forgot to mention that the snowflakes have been stickled with the colour waterfall.

Copic Marker Europe are Celebrating

Hello everyone,  Rain Rain and more Rain!!!!!  the weather has been so poor it's blooming well depressing!!!  but making this card has really brightened my day.

Waterlily Tilda

Hello All,  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I had a lovely time with my crafting buddies at our monthly crop meeting and for once in a long while we all got some work done. lol 

Anyway I'm here to show my latest card with sweet Waterlily Tilda from the Summer Memories collection.  I've also used some beautiful (Webster pages) vellum gifted to me by my dear friend Lynne. Thank you sweetie it's gorgeous.  My flower is handmade from another gift I received of some handmade parchment paper from my Daughter.  I won't go into any more detail otherwise we could be here a long time.  I will list the ingredients and links where possible at the bottom of my post.

A very good morning to you all,  what a couple of days I've had it's been dreadful,  I've been without Internet connection since late Sunday evening until now, which is Tuesday 10.30pm.   Boy have I been like a cat on a hot tin roof!!!!  You would think I could get on with doing some crafting or scrapping -  Uh uh!!! I just couldn't settle myself to do anything. I kept rebooting my comp and checking if I was connected.

Altered Notelet Book

Hello my dears,  I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend, the weather has been dire here, rain rain and more rain. Anyway I've spent the day revamping this little notelet book that I bought.

It was really pretty to start with but when I got it home and tried to take the sticker off the front of it all that was left was a real tacky gluey mess.  So I put my thinking cap on and altered it. I cut off the offending damaged piece,  got out my Pink Paislee freebie papers and went to work on it.

Once it had been recovered (front. back and inside) I picked out my stamps ( all Magnolia) I chose Ballerina Tilda from the Prince & Princesses collection,  Summer Flower Tilda from the Summer Memories collection and a Mini Tilda with Rose from the Crazy Love collection.  All were coloured with Copics.  I won't go into detail of all the other bits n bobs I've used but you can find a full list of ingredients with links where possible below this post.

This is going to a dear sweet (new) friend who is the most generous and unselfish person I've had the pleasure to meet and I'm delighted that we have become FRIENDS.

Joanne Sheen #9 Lavender and Lace

This fortnight our theme is Lavender & Lace.  I've used one of Joanna's House Mouse rubber stamp sheets called Chill out (available here) This adorable image was coloured with Copics, my papers are DCWV and First Edition. Flowers are a mixture of Prima and paper roses from my stash, some card candy and a little lace, the sentiment was stamped over the extra lemons included in the set and this makes this cute card complete.

Midweek Magnolias #14 Anything Goes

A very good morning to you all,  What a fabulous celebration we've all had over the extra long Jubilee bank holiday.  It's a shame the weather was so bad!!!!

Anyway it's Wednesday and time for another fab challenge over at

 Midweek Magnolias

This week is an easy peasy  theme of - Anything Goes.  Can't get more simple than that.  PLEASE!!!   remember that you can only combine your project with 4 other challenges to be included in the prize draw from Magnolia Sweden.  It's such a shame when we have these wonderful creations submitted and they can't be included in the prize draw or the chosen Top 3.

This week I've made my card for a sweet, funny and nutty friend who adores fairy's with a passion.  I've used my Tiny Tilda Fairy and stamped her twice on the actual surface along with the Magnolia small mushroom and  flower garden (also stamped twice) accessory stamp.  

I stamped out an extra fairy and cut her out to give a little more dimension to the image.  I wanted the scene to look like the fairy's were coming down to sit on the mushrooms.  All stamps have been coloured with Copics.  The sky was created using Tim Holtz distress ink ( broken China).

 I will list as many of the ingredients that I can remember the names for below this post, as some of them are very old!!!
