Hello my dears, Woohoo!! it's Friday!! I'm looking forward to the weekend. Sunday is Crop day with all my blogger buddies. This will be our first get together since Christmas so there's going to be lots to catch up with and I don't suppose we'll get much crafting done.

Anyway as some of you know I bought myself a sweet flip desktop calendar and this is me onto decorating the Month of February. I've followed the amazing inspirational picture over at Magnolia-licious challenge which was Cabio's Theme choice. I've used one of my new stamps Tilda with wrapped heart from the Crazy Love collection. Coloured her with pro & flex markers.

Hello my dears, This post is to let you all know that another fabulous bi-weekly challenge has started over at

Fairy Fun Friday.

Our Hostess with the mostest is the lovely Kelly and she has chosen the theme of Anything But A Card you can make a gift box, tag, wall hanging etc etc. As Valentines day is on the horizon I decided to make a little tiered gift box to hols some yummy heart chocolates.

I've used the sweet Gillian from the Valentine Gillian set over at Prairie Fairy Designs coloured her with Pro markers and Prisma pencils. I've used two of the fab tag die's from Marianne Designs to showcase her. A full recipe for my gift box is below this post.

Good afternoon my dears, It's a miserable day here, cold, very grey and bucketing with rain. I've been trying to get a card made for Lili's Little Fairies for the past couple of weeks and have always run out of time. Not this time though!!! I've used this sweet pre-coloured image and made some amendments to her.

I went over the skin tones with some blush and baby pink using my pro markers. I then added a little sheer ribbon to her hat and added a lilac rose. I also cut into her skirt and added the same ribbon underneath to give her a petticoat.

Glossy Accents on her shoes, teacup and the cake stand, with added glitter for good measure on her dress and iced cakes. A full recipe for my card is below this post.

Love is in the Air - soon be Valentine Day

Hello my lovelies, I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend, I know I have. Friends dropped in on Friday with some food, wine, champagne, vodka and lovely presents to celebrate my 60th Birthday, we had a fab evening which lasted well into early Saturday morning!!!! lol

I didn't get up until very late, but when I did the postie had left me quite a few packages and guess what was inside!!!!! yup, lots and lots of new TILDA'S, background stamps and sentiments. I am a lucky girl.

Anyway this is one of my new Tilda's, and two of the sentiments. I followed the sketch from Tina over at Tomic and used white netting as my fabric. Tilda has been coloured with pro & flex markers, I inked the edges of my Marianne Design Heart die cuts and then heat embossed with Bridal embossing tinsel from Ranger.

Hello my dears, I hope you are all having a great start to your new week. I must say I've been dreading this week for a while now!!! well the last 11 months or so. This is the last day I will be in my 50's - oh my goodness!!!! where have the years gone.

It's my Birthday tomorrow!! I'll be "GULP" 60 years young, it's not so much the number it's what it means, I will officially become a Senior Citizen - can collect my free bus pass and state pension!!!! Nooooooooooooooo!! I don't want them. Well the money will be nice, let's me buy some more crafty goodies. lol

Anyhow I digress, I wanted to show you all this fabulous image from Saturated Canary. Her name is Gothica and you can find her over at Krista's Etsy store here, what a fab image for a teenage valentine's card. I used pro & flex markers to colour her, a full recipe for my card is below this post.

Our Hostess with the mostest is the lovely Hannah and she has chosen the theme of California Dreaming - She wants us to get away from the winter blues and create something warm/dreamy.

I've chosen the sweet image of Framed Betty with her lovely flowery swimming cap and her 30's style swimsuit. This digital image is just one of two from the set and they come in jpg & png form. Isn't she adorable, you can find her HERE. I love the expression on her face. Maybe she thinks the water is a little cold for bathing .!!!! lol

Grandson's BIrthday

Hello my dears, What a lovely time we had yesterday celebrating our Twin Grandson's Birthday's. There was cake, jelly, crisps, chocs etc etc. Party games and fun. I was exhausted just watching all their little friends enthusiasm and energy for fun lol.

I made these sweet 4x4 wallet type of cards and personalised them with a sentiment created on the computer. They loved the front but secretly enjoyed the inside of the card more. lol.

We decided not to buy them gifts because they had so many wonderful gifts from Santa a couple of weeks ago. This will allow them to buy what they want. I think it was appreciated.

Onto my cards, I chose to use digital images from the Prairie Fairy store, they were so appropriate. Ross wants to be a Fireman and Aaron would like to be a Fashion Designer for 3 days and make cakes for 2 days a week when he grows up. (Wishful thinking)!!!!

2012 Calendar for ME!!!!

Hello my dears, I have not created anything for myself for such a long time, so when I saw this desk top photo calendar on sale at Asda I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I will decorate each monthly page with my sweet Tilda's and it'll take pride of place in my craft room.

I used Tilda with gift from the Christmas Dreams collection, coloured her with pro & flex markers. Used a few doohickey die's and lots of stickles. A full recipe is below this post if you would like to know details of the items.

Hello my dears, I hope everyone is having a great start to their New Year. We've just had the most horrendous two days of gale force winds and torrential rain but hurrah!!! the sun is peeking through today although it's still very cold.

1st card of 2012

Oh my word!!! How Cauuuuuuute!!! is this little lady. I must admit to not knowing much about these beautiful stamps/images until I received this and another two from a dear friend as part of my Xmas gift.

She is a Bildmalarna stamp and I think she comes under the the Mimosa collection. I've looked in the shop but can't find her. My friend says she bought them in America so maybe it's an older one!!!

Anyway I digress, I think she's a cute as a button. I used my Pro markers and flex markers to colour her, adding little lilac gems in the centre of the flowers, she has been stamped onto a circular nesti and mounted onto another two. I distressed the edges with TH old photo ink. A full recipe for my card is below this post.

Favourite Cards of 2011

Hello my dears, I showed you my top 5 Christmas cards last week and this week it's time to show you my top 10 cards for 2011. If you pop over to the lovely Debby (A Scrapjourney) you can blame it all on her, lol, as it was her idea last year and she has carried it on this year.

This wasn't an easy task at all, it's taken me a couple of days just to whittle it down. But Here they are!!!!

I love this card for the bold colours and because it was my first DT card for The Emerald Faeries Garden.

I loved making this card for my Daughter, the image is so gorgeous from Sugar Nellie. I liked the fact that there is no DP involved It's just ink and stamp for the background.

Apart from Sweet Tilda, this has to be one of my most favourite stamps from Elizabeth Bell, I never get tired colouring her.

I'm a huge fan of Sugar Nellie stamps but when they brought these beautiful images out in digital form I fell in love with them, they are a dream to colour.

I really struggle with masculine cards but was so delighted with how this little hanglar stanglar boy turned out.

I love these cute quirky series of Digital images from Roberta over at Prairie Fairy, they are so endearing.

I just couldn't leave this sweet LOTV card out. This cutie has to be one of my all time fave from lotv.

Finally last but not least Sweet Tilda. I just cannot see past this cute adorable image. Oh I know she has no mouth or nose but I can see beyond that. I just love her to bits.

I've made a Wedding Gift Tag using Joanna Sheen's/ Faye Whittaker's
All our Yesterdays "Special Day" Rubber Stamp It's so cute. I used pro markers and flex markers as my colouring medium. I then cut the image out and surrounded it with some lace, the papers are K&Co, flourishes are from Marianne D's creatables and Cheery Lynn. ribbon, chipboard sentiment and pearls are from my stash.

Happy Hogmanay!!!

Hello everyone, Woohooo!!! it's nearly 2012, I think this will be my last card for 2011!!! it's a New Year card I made for a few challenges. Tomorrow I am spending the day with my dear Hubby as we celebrate our 38th Wedding Anniversary. Where has the time gone!!!! They say as you get older time goes faster !!! I hope not cause I want to spend another 38years with him. lol xx

Anyway back to my card. I've used sweet Tilda with hellebore's, coloured her with pro markers and flex markers. A full recipe for my card is below this post, I don't want to bore you with all the little details here.

Just in case I don't manage onto blogger tomorrow may I take this opportunity to with everyone a Very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous Hogmanay when it arrives.

Don't forget to take Black Bun, a piece of Coal and a bottle of Whisky if you are going to first foot anyone. This may sound like gobbledygook to most but here in Scotland if you are the first person over someones thresh hold then the Coal is for warmth throughout the New Year, the Black Bun in for sustenance and the Whisky is for Fire in your Belly. lol xxx

Hello my dears, It's Friday and another wonderful challenge is happening over at Fairy Fun Friday the last one for 2011. I can't believe 2012 is only a few days away, and for the first time in 35 years I won't be singing live at someones celebration party or event. Due to my health issues I've had to take early retirement from my beloved Singing career. But I have some wonderful memories of events, places, countries etc to keep me going.

Anyway back to our fab challenge, our hostess is and she has chosen the theme of Sparkly Wings. A nice easy challenge to end the year on.

Wow!! how difficult was this!!! The lovely Debby is once again asking us like last year to choose our favourite top 5 Christmas cards for 2011. I've chosen the above all for different reasons, some challenging, some sentimental and one that drove me to distraction. lol.

Santa's little Helper - Tag

Hello my dears, I'm back with a little Tag creation for one of my gifts. I've used sweet Tilda (Santa's little Helper) and coloured her with Pro Markers and Flex Markers. All the sweet Magnolia stamps are available over at Magnolia Stamps.

The Tag is corrugated card which I've distressed and then painted with white acrylic paint. A full recipe is below this post.

Good morning all, It's Friday which means another challenge over at Winter Wonderland starts today. As we are so close now to Christmas we do not expect you to make a Festive card for this challenge, the Christmas themes will begin again in February.

Sadly this is my last card for Winter Wonderland as I have made the decision to step down from the Design Team. Tilda for a dear Friend

Hello my dears, I hope you are all having a good day, my day has been wonderful!!! some of you know that I've been struggling with my crafting now for the last 6 months, I had a very dense cataract in my left eye which left me with no vision what so ever but it got worse because the right eye started to form a cataract as well!!! talk about lucky white heather!!!! lol

I also took possession of my new Quashkai car in Sept and hadn't even sat behind the wheel because of my condition. Well last Sunday I went into hospital to have a new lens put into my left eye and this morning I drove my car for the very first time. It was FANTASTIC. I can now see clearly enough to colour my images in a quarter of the time. What a wonderful Christmas gift this has been for me.

Anyhoo!!! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm a very happy girl indeed.

Sweet Titania for someone Special

Hello again my dears, Christmas shopping all done and dusted thank goodness, I can now relax until Thursday when I have my delightful Grandchildren coming for a sleepover (so Mum can wrap all their prezzies!!!) maybe they should stay for a week. Lol x

Anyway I wanted to show you a card I've been working on since last week. I was so lucky to win this beautiful image from Sugar Nellie after winning one of their facebook challenges. She is called Titania and has sat patiently waiting to be inked up, and when I saw the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl I knew it was her turn to shine, especially as this card will be going to my sweet Daughter on Christmas Day.

There are a lot of elements to my card so rather than go on and on you can find the recipe at the bottom of this post. What I will tell you is that there has been no DP used on the card just my fabulous Kaban Christmas words large stamp.

Good morning all, only 6 sleeps left until the big day, I know this for a fact because my sweet Grandson's phone me daily to remind me. lol xxx

I wanted to show you a card that I made for a dear friend who's Mother will be 80 on Christmas Eve. I used this sweet LOTV image and coloured her with flex & pro markers adding a little glamour dust to her wings. Papers are from first edition sweet owl glitter collection. Heart and frond dies are from Marianne Designs.

Xmas tree Decoration

Hello my dears, I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday. I wanted to share a couple of little Christmas Tree decorations for a couple of my favourite challenge blogs. I can't show you it hanging on the tree because as yet I haven't put my tree up.!!!

I will be decorating it on Thursday when my 7yr old Grandson's come for a sleep over.

I cut out 6 cheery Lynn Italian flourish die's and glued them back to back to give some strength in order to hold the images and embellishments.

For the first one I popped a chipboard heart which has been covered in dotty cotton material. Magnolia's candy cane stamp and those sweet mini magnolia stamps unwrapped and wrapped, some glitter and a few gems. The ribbon is black and white gingham from my stash.

The second decoration was made using the same die but this time I cut it up the middle and glued them to give me 8 decorating surfaces. Again I've used Candy cane, mini wrapped and unwrapped Tilda's, trees, sledge and the teeny weeny butterfly fairy Tilda. My poinsettia flowers were made from a Marianne Design Die.

Sugar Sweet Grandaughter + NEWS!!

Good morning my dears, I am so happy this morning

only a few friends know that I've been struggling with my crafting now for about 6 months and I had to stop driving in September due to loss of vision.

I have no sight at all in my left eye due to a very dense cataract and the start of a cataract in my right eye. Well the hosp phoned me on Thursday to ask if I would like to come in this Sunday and have the cataract removed in my left eye and a "new lens inserted" guess what I said!!!! Yippee!!!! YES PLEASE!!! I've opted for a local anaesthetic so I'll be back home the same day.

I wanted to show you a sweet card I made for a dear friends Grandaughter. She will be 3 (going on 13) lol next week, when I was told she loved pink, butterfly's and cake I just knew the stamp, papers and embellies to use.

The stamp is a Sugar Nellie (let them eat cake) coloured with flex and pro markers, papers are from my minds eye and papermania, satin butterfly's are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment is computer generated.

Good Morning All, Friday again!!! how quick the days are going. Another 16 days and it will be Christmas, not that I'm complaining, it's my favourite season of the year. I love Christmas and all the festivities that go hand in hand with it, the only part I don't like is the dark, snowy, windy and wet weather. lol

Table Centre Piece

The start of my creation using some wire, florist tape, felt patches so I could stick the leaves, various flowers, pearls, berries and tons of stickles along with my nesti pennant dies

I stamped my Magnolia Spruce trees three times, cut them out and stickled them I then masked and stamped out the smaller of the trees to add to the front of my
pennants

This is a picture of all three sides with my sweet mini Maggie's, wrapped, unwrapped and the tiny tiny little butterfly fairy.
They have all been coloured with Pro markers and flexi markers, glamour dust added to their bows and wings.

It took me a couple of days to make but I'm pleased with the result. This will take pride of place in the centre of my dining table when my Grandson's come to have lunch on 26th Dec.

I am loving these wonderful little mini Magnolia stamps, they are totally adorable and I love that you can add them all together on one project. You can find them all over at Magnolia-licious stamps

Hello my dears, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. It's blowing a gale here in the west of Scotland so definitely a day for staying in and crafting.

I have another Christmas card to show you today with sweet Tilda sitting on her presents. I've masked both images and then cut them out as one to mount on the lovely Fleur de lis nesti, both images have been coloured with flexi markers and pro markers.

Wish upon a Star

Hi All, I wanted to share another Christmas card with you today. It's taken me forever to make it for One simple reason, I caught my index finger in a mechanical contraption yesterday and it's torn my full nail off. I've never squeeled in such a high pitch before in my life.

I'm all bandaged up and didn't sleep well last night, it throbbed like the devil. That'll teach me not to poke my finger into a machine when it's still live. lol xx

Any way my wee card is for a very special lady. I've kept the card as simple as I could, she's not in fussy n fancy but I know she is going to love this sweet Sugar Nellie image (Wish upon a Star) I've coloured her with flexi markers and pro markers, distressed around the edges with TH old paper ink.

Papers are from Papermania's A Silent Night and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The lovely icicle die cut is a Marianne Design Creatable,

My Nieces Xmas Cards x 16

Good morning all, Well I've managed to finish my Christmas cards for my Great Nieces all 16 of them!!!! Phew!

To save myself an awful lot of work I've opted for the ready coloured squares from Lili of the valley, although I did colour in little ted with light fawn flexi marker and put a pro marker blush colour over those sweet faces and touched up the hair.

I used glossy accents on Ted's eyes and nose and the sweet hanging fairy (it's quite hard to see in the pictures) for the fur trim I've used glossy accents and polar white glitter. I also used red/green/gold glitter on the little accents of the images.

On the second card I've used seam binding to make the little scarf, this was my sweet Daughter's idea (she is a clever girl) Anyway a full recipe for my cards are below this post. I hope my Niece's appreciate them. lol x

Praire Fairy Fun Friday #66 Fall

Hello my dears, Well it's Friday and that means another wonderful challenge over at

Prairie Fairy Fun Friday.

Our Hostess is the lovely Kendra and the theme she chose for you this fortnight is Fall.

I chose to use the gorgeous digital image of Fall Harvest from Prairie Fairy Designs (available Here) coloured it with Pro markers and pencils, mounted onto some corrugated card.

My papers are from Basic Grey Boxer and Archaic 6x6 pads. Stem flowers are from One Stop Crafts store and the little flowers are Making memories, my raffia ribbon is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

A very simple card but I love the warm earthy colours of papers and image. I haven't added a sentiment yet as I'm not sure whether I'll use it as a thank you/birthday card.

Gift Bag with sweet Tilda

Good morning everyone, Well this is my second post today and it's only 10.30am. I've been working on this gift bag for a couple of days now and finally finished it this morning.

I've used sweet Tilda with small gift from the Christmas Dreams collection 2011, coloured her skin and hair with pro markers but paper pieced her little frock with the same paper I've used as my backdrop. Her wings and little dots on her dress have been sprinkled with Glamour Dust.

Emerald Faerie Garden #13 Christmas Green Dt card

Hello my dears, It's time for another bi-weekly challenge over at The Emerald Faeries Garden The theme for this fortnight is Christmas Green. Nice and simple,

I've chosen the adorable little Faerie called Ashee available HERE and positioned him onto my Magnolia Sleigh stamp, both images have been coloured with a mixture of Letraset pro markers and flexmarkers. The large Christmas word stamp is from Kaban and the small sentiment stamp and die are from Whiff of Joy.

I've used a couple of Marianne Designs Creatable die's to finish off my card. Tree Branch LRO181 and Sign Post LRO18. Flower soft polar white was used to create the snow effect.

Good Morning All, Friday again!!! how quick the days and weeks seem to be going just recently. Before we know it Christmas will be upon us, not that I'm complaining, it's my favourite season of the year. I love Christmas and all the festivities that go hand in hand with it.

I took my inspiration from the wonderful Claudia Rosa, I love and admire Claudia's work so much and I know my bag isn't as amazing as the beautiful one Claudia created but I just had to have a go at it and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Good Morning All, TGIF!!!! I'm so glad it's Friday and the weekend is just around the corner. I was asked to make a personalised Birthday card for a sweet lady who is celebrating her 50th Birthday this week. The only spec given to me was her name (Mary) age (50) and that she loved pink and had a liking for cake!!!

I knew I had the perfect stamp for her with this adorable Sugar Nellie little Fairy in the Glen with her sweet sugary cake. I stamped her onto a circle nesti, coloured her with Pro markers and mounted the image onto a Scallop Nesti.

Good morning All, Well I must say I am in my glory when I'm making Christmas cards. My favourite season, I can bring out all the glitter, bling, puff paints and those fantastic Christmas Dies'

My main image is the sweet little gift Tilda from the new Christmas Dreams collection, coloured with Pro Markers and Derwent artist pencils. She has been placed on a round nesti and then onto a Marianne Designs scallop circle die. I have listed all my die's and recipe details below this post.

How GORGEOUS is this new cutie from Lili of the Valley. I bought her and quite a few other new releases at the SECC last Thursday along with some of the Christmas stamps I needed to boost my collection.

I used Promarkers to colour her and added a little glamour dust to her sweet wings. My papers are all Basic Grey from the Porcelain pad. Flower die cuts, swirls and leaves are all from Marianne Designs Creatables. A Full recipe and links are at the bottom of my post.

Winter Wonderland - Clean and Simple

A very good Friday morning to you all, Our new challenge for the coming week has started over at Winter Wonderland, your hostess is the lovely Denise. She has chosen the theme and it's a nice easy one for everyone. Denise wants to see all your CAS card/projects. Just keep it Clean and Simple.

Now I find this really hard to do. I keep wanting to add all sorts of bits n bobs to my card. This is as simple as I get!!!! lol.

My card has been created using a Christmas background stamp from Kaban, my CB snowflake embossing folder and two gorgeous Marianne Designs Creatable Die. Pine Tree branch LRO181 and Christmas Baubles LRO184 my sentiment is from Whiff of Joy.

A Beautiful Sketch

Good Morning, I'm so excited this morning. Why!! well in about an hours time I will be off to the SECC in Glasgow with my Daughter to browse the hundreds of stalls all selling lovely craft goodies and I have a shopping list to break my bank managers heart.

I'm also meeting up with some of the girls from Sugar Nellie over on facebook, Debbi Glen is demonstrating her fab colouring skills with Pro markers, it's going to be a lovely day out. But before I toddle off I wanted to show you another sweet Tilda card that I've made, and once again getting lots of inspiration from some amazing challenge blogs.

I've used Tilda with large bow from last years Christmas release and merged her with the Magnolia Wrapped Christmas Presents stamp. She has been coloured with a mixture of Pro markers and Derwent Water colour pencils. The full recipe for my card is below this post.

I will say though that I haven't made an A5 card in years but the sketch I followed over at Midnight Madness just lent itself to this size.

Wohoo!!! Another Christmas cards made and put into my Christmas card box. I certainly won't be caught out this year when that wonderful festive time comes around.

Today I've used one of my new Tilda stamps this one is A little Gift Tilda from the new Sweet Christmas Release. They are all so utterly adorable. I've coloured her with Pro markers and Derwent water colour pencils. You'll find the full recipe for my card below this post.

I took my inspiration from my favourite challenge blogs to help me in my colour choice and embellishments. I would like to enter the following Challenges:

Anyone for Cake !!

Hello my dears, It's Monday!!!! and as the saying goes "I don't like Mondays" very much. It means another 5 days until the weekend.

It's very cold wet and windy here where I live in Bonny Scotland, which means I've had time to do a little crafting just for me. My Mojo has gone on holiday and left me behind to fend for myself. lol. I needed some help with this card and turned to blogger and some of my favourite blogs to look for inspiration.

I found a wonderful sketch over at the new Quixotic Paperie Inspirations monthly challenge and a fab game of Bingo at Lili of the Valley. I chose the line with Gems, Distressing and pins. What more does a girl need. I haven't added a sentiment as yet because I don't know who is going to receive it.

My image is from Lili of the Valley and was part of loads of images free from a magazine, it's slightly bigger than my stamp but it was so very convenient, all I had to do was colour her, which I've done with Pro Markers and Derwent water pencils, as said previously I followed the sketch from Quixotic Inspirations challenge this month. A full recipe is below this post for my ingredients.

Clean and Simple

Good Morning, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I wanted to show you another CAS card that I've made using die cuts, embossing folder and 3 merged stamps. Most of you know that I very rarely do Clean and Simple. lol. I love my embellishments, but you know I quite like this style of card considering the only embellishment is some netting.

My stamps are all from Magnolia, trees, wrapped presents and giggling Tilda. I've coloured them with Pro markers and Derwent artist pencils. The wee sentiment is from my stash. A little Glamour dust on the snow and the netting finishes it off.

Prairy Fairy Fun Friday #64 Wet/Heat Embossing

Hello my dears, Well it's Friday and that means another wonderful challenge over at

Prairie Fairy Fun Friday.

Our Hostess is the lovely Dionne and the theme she chose for you this fortnight is Wet/Heat Embossing.

I've chosen to use this beautiful image Santa and the deer which is available over at the Prairie Fairy Design Store I printed off my image and then stamped a frame around them which was heat embossed using Ranger Gold embossing powder. I've also heat embossed the little sentiment.

I've kept my card clean and simple as I wanted the main feature to be the beautiful image. Just added some netting and white interface material cut into a strip using my guillotine.

Please pop over and see the wonderful embossing techniques my sweet fairy princesses have used, they are amazing.

How Gorgeous is this sweet image, it's from the newest Fairy Glen release over at Sugar Nellie. The image is called Let them Eat Cake

I was so very lucky to win this wee cutie from the recent Blog Hop and couldn't wait to ink her up. I've coloured her with Pro marker, papers are Dovecraft piece of cake and the swirls are a cheery Lynne die. Flower is from my stash.
