Layers galore!!

Good Afternoon All,  I know "Another" Tilda,  can't help myself !!  I'm totally besotted with her just now.  The more I look at my collection the more I fall in love with her, I'm a sad anorak I know. lol.

Anyway, here is Tilda with her little parasol, she has been coloured with a mixture of mediums, promarkers and water colour pencils and I paper pieced her little brolly.

I have 7 paper layers on this card because I have lots of this My Minds Eye Ooh La La double sided 12 x 12 card stock paper with accessory sheets which I found in my local craft shop reduced from £17.99 to just £5.00 so I bought 2 packs. Just can't resist a bargain.

The full recipe for my card is below this post.  Oh before I forget, that's another hand made hatpin I created.  I'm loving making these and saving a fortune as well.

I've made this card for the following challenges:

Wild Orchid Crafts:  Would like to see embossing heat and/or dry and at least 3 layers.

Cupcake Challenge: Have a colour theme of Orange, Yellow, White and Green this week.

Oldie but a Goodie:  Would like to see lots of Layers this week.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day and the Sun is shining for you where ever you may be.

Sweetheart Tag with Charlotte

Hi Everyone,  If you are looking for WINTER WONDERLAND'S BLOG HOP

Please click HERE.

I am finding it really hard to get back into the swing of things since returning from my holiday.  There's just been so much to catch up on, and my concentration has gone for a Burton.!!!!

I managed to make this little tag by the skin of my teeth for the challenge over at Bizzy Becs Store.  I used pink card and edged it with my MS lace doily border punch, I then distressed it with TH ink (brushed corduroy and wild honey)  The image is from Blue Butterfly stamps and she is Charlotte from the Victorian Sweethearts collection.  I won all six of these adorable stamps in January and I'm ashamed to say that this is the first time I've inked one of them up.  I coloured her with TH distress inks,  My full recipe for the tag is below this post.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Labour Day weekend if you are across the water and for those here at home I hope you are enjoying your Bank Holiday Weekend, despite the weather.

Hopefully I will be back later with another creation (if I ever get it finished) lol.

Creative Inspirations #59 Glitz n Bling DT card

Good Morning my lovelies, First let me wish all the Mothers &  Grandmothers across the pond a Very Happy Mothers Day to you all, I hope you have a wonderful day with your respective families.

It's Sunday morning and time for a new bi-weekly challenge over at

this week it was the lovely Bea's choice of theme and she has gone for *Bling & Glitz* hey! you don't need to ask me twice, I love glitz, bling, sparkle and a bit of glamour.

Tilda has been coloured with Promarkes, Tilda's tiara, gloves, shoes and petticoat have been layered with glamour dust to give her the sparkle I wanted, all the roses from Wild Orchid Crafts have been stickled with frosted lace, you may have to click on my pictures to enlarge them in order to see all the sparkle.  Not the easiest thing to photograph.  lol

The papers are from Papermania's Rose Garden and I deliberately didn't use layers as I wanted the papers to be seen this time. I have machine stitched all around the edge of the card and added a couple of Marianne D's corners distressed with TH Tattered Rose ink. The leaves are from my spellbinders foliage die set and have been chalked and distressed with TH forest Moss ink.

A doohickey lace doily flower has been added behind the bottom rose and the crystal hat pin I made myself from various beads from an old necklace.

We have two amazing Sponsors this week and the first one up is
