Midweek Magnolias #26 What's Cooking Dt card

Christmas Time, Mistletoe and Wine !!!

Hello my lovelies,  A typical BH Monday, it's pouring with rain and it's actually very chilly!!!    Nothing else for it but to sit all cosy in my craft room and play with my toys!!!! lol

I made this card for a few challenges and to put in my Christmas box ready to be sent to someone special.  

I used the Sketch from Live & Love Crafts and my so lovely Doohickey die that I bought from the store.  Lots of my ideas came from the other challenge blogs that I'm entering my card into.  As always I'll pop a list of ingredients at the bottom of my post just in case you see something you want more info on.

That's all from me for now, I'm going to pack up a few of my goodies  as tomorrow I'm spending the day with my darling Daughter, we're having another scrapping day with some yummy lunch (I hope !!)

In the meantime I would like to say a very big Welcome to my new follower/friends,  it's lovely to see you and I hope you find a wee bit of inspiration when you visit.

Wooohoooooo!!!! I am on "TOP OF THE WORLD" !!!!

Hello my lovelies,   do you see this sweet Blinkie above.  How Fantastic is that.   Yup!!!  I really am on  top of the world to be included as a DT member for Totally Tilda Challenge,  I have been a huge fan since the blog started and I am utterly thrilled and excited to be among so many wonderful designers who have one thing in common we all love our Tilda's

Midweek Magnolias #25 Colour Combo - Dt card

A very good morning to you all,   It's Wednesday and time for another wonderful Challenge over at

We have a Colour Combo for you this week,  we would like to see your BROWN/PINK/WHITE creations this week.  I personally love brown with any other colour so I was in my element creating my card for you.

I've coloured this sweet Tilda with flowers with my Derwent soft pencils and sansodor oil.  My newest Prima papers and Journal cards.  I will put a complete list for you of the ingredients at the bottom of my post.

Vintage Tilda and Exciting News

A very good morning all,  I had scheduled this post to go out at 9.00am but it looks like Mr Blogger is still in bed!!!!

Totally Tilda - Midway reminder - Gdt card

A very good morning to you all,  I'm here to share my 2nd Gdt card and to remind you that there is still lots of time to enter the current challenge and the DT Call over at 

The theme is any Tilda + Kraft card/paper.  I've chosen sweet Tilda giving Flowers from the Summer Memories collection, coloured her with a mixture of Copics and Derwent coloursoft pencils.

GDT for Fussy and Fancy - Orange Lime and Citrus

Good morning my lovelies,  I'm so pleased to show you my Gdt card for Fussy and Fancy this week.  

I must admit when Sheryl sent me the theme I was a bit perplexed!!!  certainly not a colour combo I have ever used before but I enjoyed the challenge and coming out of my comfort zone for a short while.

You still have a week to enter the current challenge of ORANGE/LIME/CITRUS

I've used sweet Tilda with her bouquet and hat. paper pieced her wee dress, the bow on her hat and coloured her with Copics. Papers are from My Minds Eye Ooh la la collection and are years old.
My doily is a cheery lynne die, Flower is hand made using a Marianne Design die, my little tag is from a Magnolia Doohickey die, leaf die is from Dynamic  and the fab bright green mesh ribbon is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

I haven't added a sentiment as this card will go into my emergency box and will eventually become either a friendship/birthday or thank you card.

Abc Challenge V for Vanish Dt card

Good morning again my dears,  my 3rd post for you today is for the

This week our letter is V = Vanish,  we would like you to hide something on your creation, it could be a tag, your sentiment or like me a little gift book tag.   One of our sponsors is Tickled Pink and I've used the sweet LiL Pinkette Birthday Pippa.  Isn't she a doll.

Pippa has been coloured with copics and stamped onto a Marianne Design oval lace die.  My papers are a mixture of papermania and Close to my heart Reflections.  Sentiment on the book tag is from Simon Says Stamps (friends) and the circular sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Midweek Magnolias #24 Wedding

A very good morning all,  It's time for another challenge over at

Our theme for this week is "Weddings"  I've chosen to honour the flower girl as my project.  I  thought it would be nice to make something as a keepsake that could be brought out in later years as a reminder of the wonderful day she took a big part in.

I've used lots of elements on my card and tag so I won't bore you with all the details here but I'll put a list of ingredients at the bottom of my post if you are curious.

I do have to tell you though that this is the first time I've used nothing but pencils as my colouring medium.  They are Derwent softcolour pencils and I love the effect they give.

Marianne Design Divas #13 Summer - Dt card

A very good morning to you all,  Wow!! what can I say, we had a fabulous amount of entries for our previous Anything Goes + DT call challenge over at MARIANNE DESIGN DIVAS.  You have given us all a feast of beautiful creations and a tough choice for our new additions to the Design Team.

GDT for Totally Tilda

Hello my dears,  I am so excited to tell you that I am a Guest Designer for Totally Tilda this week and next.   I was so thrilled when Christine emailed me a few weeks ago to ask me if I would like to join them as Gdt.  Well it took me no seconds to say YES PLEASE!! and here I am.

Vintage style Tag

Hello All,   Another lovely sunny day here in Scotland and the start of another weekend.  I'm hoping that the weather last for at least a few more day.

I wanted to try something a little different from my normal style, last year the lovely Linda Coughlin also known as The Funkie Junkie sent me a beautiful hand made tag which I often look at and admire. So I thought I would take my inspiration from Linda's gorgeous work.  

I started with a cardboard box, I  cut out two pieces and took the top layer off one of them so that I was left with the corrugated sheet.  I painted them with white Acrylic paint.  

I knew the stamps I wanted to use as they were part of my Dt kit from Marianne Designs, as was the gorgeous 2 washi tapes I've used, the silhouette head and the bicycles.  I will put a full list of ingredients at the bottom of my post.

Everything was distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks brushed corduroy, tattered rose and tea dye. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this tag,  it's always nice to try something different occasionally .
