Midweek Magnolia DT #85 Lacey Lace Midweek Reminder

Sweet Tilda now sits pride of place on top of my pencil holder.

Good morning my dears,  I hope you are all enjoying this lovely sunshine we've been having over the past couple of days. Mind you in saying that we are still scraping the ice off the car windows in the morning and a massive hail stone (golf ball) downpour hit us yesterday afternoon, but in between we had some lovely sunny moments. lol

Anyway I'm here to remind you that there is still lots of time to pop over and join us at

Midweek Magnolias  for our Lacey Lace challenge.

I made a cute holder, it's supposed to hold mini sprays but as I don't use a lot of them I decided it could hold my Tortillions (paper stumps)  You can find the tutorial from Sam (Pootles Papercraft)

After making the box I decorated it using Prima paper and some lovely black lace which had some pink pearls added.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts .

My sweet Rose Scent Tilda is from the 2013 Lost and Found Collection. You can find her and many other wonderful Magnolia/Wee Stamps/Candibean/Wild Rose Studio/Penny Black stamps in the Magnolia-licious store.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me I hope you enjoyed your visit and please come back and see me soon.

Midweek Magnolias DT #85 Lacey Lace

Good morning my dears,  I hope you are all well and happy!!  it's time for another new challenge over at

Our theme for the next fortnight is Lacey Lace so lets see all that pretty lace on your creations.

I've used Sagittarius Tilda from the 2014 Zodiac collection available now over at Magnolia-licious

This sign represents Birthdays from November 23rd to December 21st but I just know this sweet Tilda is going to be used for so much more because of her adorable cuteness.

This is a little notebook I bought myself last weekend as I was off on a 3 day craft retreat with lots of my friends and wanted to take notes of new techniques, ideas etc etc.  I decorated it when I got back on Monday and yes it's now full of ideas and hints n tips I picked up from the girls.

Tilda has been coloured with copics and Derwent coloursoft pencil.  My papers are actually small note cards that I bought ages ago so I've cut them in half and used these on the front cover which was just plain green.  I've used prima flowers and a prima butterfly along with lots of pretty lace to finish off my book.

I do hope you will pop over and join us this fortnight, but don't forget to read the rules on the sidebar to be including in the mystery prize draw from our fabulous sponsors

Magnolia-Licious DT Spring Blog Hop

Good morning my dears,  We are having a fabulous
Spring Blog Hop over at

If you've come to me from our lovely Dena after picking your jaw up off the floor at her stunning creation then you are on the right track, but if you haven't then honestly you need to scoot back to the Magnolia-licious Blog and start from the very beginning, I would hate for you to miss out on the most adorable and motivational creations the girls on the DT have made just for you.

As you can see from my pictures I decided to create my first  Easter card and gift set.  I chose to use Tilda with egg from the
Little Easter Collection 2013.

I found these little chocolate discs at Aldi's and knew immediately (as you do. lol)!!!  exactly what I wanted to do with some of them, add sweet Tilda's face to them.  There should have been 10 but 1 of them got occidentally eaten (by me)  it's okay!! I've got another two bags to into the sweet Popcorn box.

My covered popcorn box was made using the Sweet treat embossing board from Crafters Companion.  My papers are from Prima's 12x12 Sweet Fairy range 2012.

The flowers are also Prima, the sentiment is from Graphic45 as is the tiny tag.  I will pop a list of ingredients at the bottom of my post for you with links where possible.

Thank you so much for coming to visit I am sure you are enjoying our Spring Blog Hop, you now need to hop on over to our very very talented Chrissy. and oh boy!! has she got a treat in store for you.

Have a wonderful day everyone.
