Midweek Magnolias DT #88 Texture

Good morning my dears,  It's time for another challenge over at

This fortnight we would love to see lots of "TEXTURE" on your creations.

For my card I've used the adorable Tip Toe Tilda from my Stamp Club Kit which is part of the Animals of the year collection. Isn't she a cutie, love those ringlets!!  now who remembers their Mums twisting their hair and using rags to hold it in place so you could have pretty ringlets.  Ouch!! but they did them too tight!!! lol.

Anyways! sweet Tilda has been colouring using Derwent pencilsoft pencils and sansodor solvent.   My papers are from Maja designs Vintage Summer basics 6x6 pad.  I used the scraps to cover the chipboard buttons and to make the pretty butterflies.

As always I will pop a list of ingredients at the bottom of my post with links where possible.

Our sponsors once again are the very generous Magnolia Sweden and they will be sending our Random winner ( if the rules are followed) a fabulous surprise package.

I used Magnolia mini stamps on Doohickey tag dies and coloured them with copics and Derwent soft pencils.  My bows were made using the WRMK envelope punch board and I made belly bands to keep the bags closed.

The bags and belly bands were made using my Score-pal

Craft Room Space complete!!! I think!!!

Hello my dears,  A few of you have asked how my revamping of my room is coming on, well I think I've finally done it. My craft room is complete!!!!!  I have taken lots of pics and put them on a separate page at the top of my blog next to the home page.  I'm pleased with my efforts, it took a couple of weeks but was well worth it.  I now have a bright pleasant place to sit and craft till my hearts content.

Midweek Magnolias DT #87 Frame It!!

Hello my dears,  it's time for another challenge over at

This fortnight the theme is "FRAME IT" you can choose to frame your image or like me frame something else on your creation.  I've used one of my air dry clay Martha Steward silicone moulds to frame the cute flowers.

My up-cycled Ferrero Rocher choccie box and matching card are for my friends Birthday, we try to surprise each other every year with something a little different and as we are both crafter it inevitably ends up being something hand made.

Here is the card to match the gift box. I've used Tilda from the With Love collection 2013.  She has been coloured with TH Distress inks.  I've also used a mini Tilda

I bought some TH distress ink pens a couple of months ago and I've been having a wee practice now and then when I can find the time. This is the first complete image coloured with them. Not too bad but still lots of practice needed.

This is the chocolates I bought my Daughter for Easter (I snaffled her box to use for my project)!!! but I made her a cuter box to replace it.

Inside I've filled it up with 6 lovely large shabby chic antique flowers that I made, I also made the one on the front.
