My first Tussie Mussie

Hello my dears,  I've been working on this project for a few days now, but I've been waiting for a few items to finish it off and they came today.

I'd better tell you that this post is a bit photo heavy.  I can't think of any other way to show you the different angles and size of my first ever (definitely not the last) Tussie Mussie

From This

To This

This is quite a large Tussie Mussie as you can see by the 12" ruler
A multitude of embellishments, dies, bling, lace, fran-tage, stampin etc etc has been used to decorate it.  I'm not going to go into every tiny bit used !! we would be here all day!  lol  I'll pop a list of items used at the bottom of my post for you.

I'm going to be filling this with lots of little Christmas surprises for the recipient. She can then hang it up as a Christmas decoration if she wants

If you want to have a go at making one of these then just scoot over to Youtube and type in Tussie Mussie tutorial.  there are tons. I took my lead from Roseanne on how to create the basic shape.

I hope you enjoyed visiting and the many pictures didn't take up too much of your time.  I promise not to take so many the next time.

In the meantime I wish you all wonderful crafty day

Magnolia-licious DT White Cards

Good morning my dears, I hope you are all well and happy, I'm here to remind you that you still have time to join us over at

in our White Card theme challenge.  I've kept my card very simple.
I've used sweet Sparkle Poinsettia Tilda and coloured her with ShinHanArt markers and added glamour dust to her dress.

I've used white card and my A4 embossing folder which came with my Ebosser, inking the edges with Tim Holtz brushed corduroy distressing ink. Tilda is stamped on a spellbinders circle nestability and then placed onto the Royal Circle Nestability.  Once again both have been inked around the edges.

I used the Doohickey Vol 2 club kit Poinsettia die, inked the edges and added some flat back pearls to the centre.

My roses ribbon trim is from Live and Love crafts.
Sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

Midweek Magnolias DT #101 Glitter/Lace/Pearls Midway Reminder

Good morning my dears,  I'm here today to remind you that there is still another week to enter our current challenge over at

Our theme is Glitter/Lace/Pearls.

I've recycled an old chocolate box and created a card to compliment it.  I chose Angel Tilda with Gloria as my image and I must confess this is the first time I've inked her up!!!!  so she is making her debut today!!  I've coloured her using Copics and Derwent pencilsoft pencils this time.

My papers are from a very old Anna Griffiths scrapbook collection. The flowers are made using Heartfelt Creations Vintage morning background stamp & a matching die.  I used my McGills tool kit to shape them, adding gesso paint to the tips and dipping them into Glamour dust for the sparkle.  I even made my own candy for the large flowers using my embossing tool.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit, I hope you had a pleasant stay and found a little inspiration.

Have a wonderful day everyone.
