The Trinket Parlour Guest Designer Project 1

Hello my dears,  I'm delighted to share my first
completed project as Guest Designer for

The Trinket Parlour

Emily the owner kindly sent me her fabulous August
Trinket Parlour Box crammed with lovely  lace, flowers, resin
pieces, charms, Feathers, ribbon, etc etc.

I used just a few of the items for my first project, I had
a small canvas which I chose to decorate.

Here are just a few of the items from the delicious box.

I started prepping for the canvas by cutting the 2 ply napkin to the
size I required, I wanted it to cover the sides of the canvas. I removed the bottom layer and made my own decoupage glue
by adding 1 teaspoon of water and 3 teaspoons of standard
all purpose glue, mixing well and covering the entire canvas.

I added the napkin using my heat gun to dry it, I then
added my watered down glue all over the surface and once
again used my heat gun to dry it off.  Once dry I distressed
the edges with Crushed Corduroy ink using a sponge applicator.

It was just a case of distressing the resin cherubs,
flowers, cutting the lace to size and placing it all onto
the canvas.  Hey Presto a quick and easy project
that will make a sweet gift for someone special.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit.  I'll be back
with another project for The Trinket Parlour next week.
