My 1st Mixed Media Altered book!!

Hello my dear friends,   I'm here today to share my latest creation with you and
a first for me!!  I've seen people alter and decorate old books by ripping out pages and
inserting all their snippets of leftover papers and then adding bits of lace, keys, flowers
etc etc.  So I thought I would try it out.!!!! I LOVED THE END RESULT!!!!

I am definitely going to be making lots more of these as gifts for friends etc.

The papers for the covers and spine are Moonstone from Prima!!!
The inside of the book has been gesso'd and distressed with Tim Holtz
distress inks.

Here is a view of the Left hand side of the book

The pages have just been ripped out randomly and some have been glued together
to form little pockets where extra papers can be added.

A view below of the right hand side of the book

The back covers and spine I've kept simple as this really won't be see once
displayed on a stand.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit with me I do hope you got a little
inspiration and please come back and see me again soon

Have a lovely day.
