Mintay Flowers Galore for your Birthday!!

Hello my lovely's,  I hope you are all well and having a fabulous crafty week so far.
I'm here to share a card I made recently using the beautiful Mintay Life Stories
paper collection.  I love the rich colours in the papers along with the fabulous
elements that make fussy cutting so wonderful.

The Flowers were made using the papers and a few different flower dies, I added
white stamens along with gesso and glamour dust.  The leaves were made
using LadyE desigm leaves 003 the other leaf die at the top is her small leaves die.

I left a half circle space on the side of the card to add a couple of
tags for either a message or sentiment.
Thank you so much for popping in to visit me, I really appreciate you taking the time
out of your day.  Have a fabulous day where ever you are!!1

How cute is she!! I coloured her with Distress re-inkers and added a little
glamour dust to her ear-muffs

The papers are Home for Christmas from Mintay and I've fussy cut
out all the cute poinsettia's adding them around the
edges of the image.

A close up of those lovely fussy cut elements. The cute wreath cutapart is also
part of the 6x6 pad and just sets this card off perfectly.

Shabby Chic Mixed Media Card !!!

Hello my lovely crafty friends,  I'm here to share something a little different
for me today.  I recently tried out for the Lemoncraft Design Team and
I made it through to the second phase!! I was thrilled beyond words!!

We were asked to make another creation for the next phase which would
determine who made the DT and who didn''t.  I chose to make an ultra shabby
chic card using products I had in my stash which were primarily Lemoncraft papers
butterfly's and buttons.

Alas I didn't make the DT this year but was thrilled to have been considered.
I will continue to use the beautiful products that Lemoncraft produce
and maybe next year I will be successful in making it into the DT.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit with me.  I hope you will
come back and see me soon,

Have a fabulous day everyone.

Mixed Media Altered Jewellery Tray !!

Good morning my dears,  I'm here to share my altered Jewellery tray
that I found in Home Bargains for the pricely sum of £2.00.

I've turned into a Christmas Shadow Box using the gorgeous
Mintay Home for Christmas 12x12 & 6x6  paper collection, I am so
loving every tiny detail.  Let me take you through each section and
explain the process.

I painted the whole box with gesso to start off and then chose the gorgeous
panelled blue paper as my background making sure I cut it to make sure
it all matched up from top to bottom and side to side.
I used pure white flower soft on the floors of all the section just
to give it that extra texture, for this section I used a Tim Holtz mini
Christmas tree, painting it with gesso and adding flat back pearls
as baubles and I fussy cut and glittered a star from the paper collection
to add to the top.  To finish it off I fussy cut a wreath and hung it on the wall.

For this section, I made a little frame from Air dry clay and fussy cut
a snowglobe from the paper collection. I made a little set of drawers
from Kraft card and cut out 4 of the drawer panels from the 6x6 paper
collection. I also fussy cut the little ornaments to sit on top of the drawers.

For this section I used a Marianne Design Chair die that I had
in my stash and scored it at the bottom of the chair back to
make it 3d I  did the same for the little coffee table cutting
the whole back section away. I covered the seat with paper from
the collection and the table with some pretty gold dotted washi tape
adding some fussy cut elements to the table.

I didn't have a Chrismtas tree big enough to be in proportion for this section
so I made a paper cone and used some organza pleated trim glued around
it to make the tree adding some gold and glitter stamens as the decorations
and topped it off with a chipboard snowflake covered in gold glamour dust.

I fussy cut the fireplace out from the collection and made three tiny parcels
using white card stock and papers from the collection.  The cute standard
lamp is another die from Marianne Designs, it has gold washi tape added to
kraft card and then die cut out, the shade is paper from the collection.

The top border is a 12" sizzix die and the two section on the middle and bottom
are the off cuts from the top border.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me today,  I really appreciate
it and love reading your comments.  Have a wonderful weekend
and I'll see you all again soon

Mixed Media Christmas Canvas!!!

Hello my dear friends,  I hope you are all having a fabulous crafty week so far!!

I wanted to share this Mixed Media Canvas that I did a couple of  weekends
ago.  We were gifted the blank 10x8 canvas when we attended our monthly crop.
and we were set a challenge to create somthing .

I decided to go down the road of a Blue Christmas theme and I love how it
turned out.

My image and the papers for my hand made flowers came from Mintay's
new collection called Cosy Evenings.   I was so very lucky to have won
4 12x12 paper collections along with 4 6x6 paper pads to match.

The frame was gifted to me by my friend Jean who used Air Dry Clay
to make it.  I had some boring straws which I painted with Gesso and
then used Washi tape in various shades of blue and then sprinkled
some Galmour dust over two of them.

The large mesh flower is from Petaloo and the dried blue leaves are actually
from a pot pourri pack I bought just for the pine cones and leaves. I used Gesso
on everything to soften it down.

Thank you so much for popping in to visit me, I really appreciate you
taking the time out of your day.

That's all from me for today, but I hope you come back and see me soon.

A close up of the pretty fussy cut floral spray and that delicious lace flower
