and sentiment stamps came from Love to Shop and the hat boxes came
from the set called What To Wear!!

Double box gift card - Mintay's Old Manor paper collection!

Good morning my crafty friends.  I'm here today to share another cute
double box gift card using the gorgeous Mintay's Old Manor papers

Above is the front of the card

I wanted a vintage feel to my card this time.
So Old Manor was perfect.  I fussy cut out the suitcase and rocking
horse then mounted them onto one of the cut apart frame included
in the paper collection.  I chose a couple of sheets of 6x6 papers to
make the flowers and leaves.

I decorated the inside using the same papers but being careful to keep
the pretty scene intact where possible.   I fussy cut the doors on the right hand
side of the card. to give it more dimension and I made a door
for the left hand side to hide the surprise inside.

This shows the section on the left when you open the door it has a
pretty tag for your message and there is a small 3"x2" envelope to
hold either money or a gift card for the recipient. I made a little pocket
to hold the tag and fussy cut a little corner to hold the envelope

I hope you like my project, it just shows what you can achieve when
you have the most wonderful papers to play with.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Polkadoodles - Paper Piecing Tutorial! with Winnie Winter Wishes!!

Hello my dear friends,  I'm here today with My Design Team
card and a tutorial for you on how to paper-piece part of an image for

Polkadoodles

I used to love using this technique on certain parts of my image
and its a great way to incorporate the colour of your
papers onto an image.

I chose to stamp up one of the new Winter Winnie Wishes polymer stamps.
This one is called Heartfelt Wishes

I then  choose my papers I'll be using on my card and I chose
to use the cute Wintertime 6x6 paper pack.  Then I choose
which paper I want to use to paper piece.

Once you've stamped the part of the image you want to use
cut out a larger section, this makes it easer to fussy cut around
the intricate areas, rememeber to keep the stamped ink lines on
your paper piece otherwise it wont fit properly onto your stamped image.

Next stage is to adhere your paper piece to the stamped image.

Once you've paper pieced the image you can then go on to colour
it or do the reverse  and colour it first and then paper piece
the section required.  I only paper pieced Winnie's coat but you
could paper piece her hat, scaft, shoes and gloves if you wanted.

I also used a few of the fabulous Polydoodle Basic Tag dies,
leaves from the Delicate Daisy dies  and a couple of candy canes and a star
from the Lazer cut Jumbles to complete my card.

Thank you so much for taking the time to pop in and visit,
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and that you'll give
this technique a try.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Hugs
Suzi xx

lots of elements to bring it to life.
The poinsettia's and leaves were made using Foamiran and Lady E design dies.

Crafteezee DT - All Dressed Up Party Season!!!

Hello crafty friends,  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.

I'm here to bring you my project as a member of the Design Team over at

Crafteezee

I inked up these two adorable stamps called Party Season from All Dressed Up stamps
and coloured them with distress re-inkers.  I masked them so I could add the sentiment
from the ADU stamp Time to Sparkle and a few of the star stamps.

The papers are from Scrap Boys Dream Garden 6x6 collection.  I fussy cut
around some of the flowrs and foliage on both corners so I could slip the image under
I also fussy cut some of the flowers, leaves and the pretty butterfly.

you enjoyed your stay and do please come back and see me soon.

Birthday - Double box gift card - Mintay 7th Heaven!!

Good morning my crafty friends.  I'm here today to share another cute
double box gift card using the gorgeous Mintay's 7th Heaven papers.

Above is the front of the card

I wanted this card to be very feminine so I fussy cut out
one of the large mason jars from the collection
and used sticky buds to give the front of the card
some dimension, I also made some pretty paper roses,
added some sissal and lots of foliage.

I decorated the inside using the same papers but being careful to keep
the pretty scene intact where possible.   I fussy cut out some of the butterflys and added them to the right hand side of the card.
I made a door for the left hand side to hide the surprise inside.

This shows the section on the left when you open the door it has a
pretty tag for your message and there is a small 3"x2" envelope to
hold either money or a gift card for the recipient. I fussy cut out some of
the pretty flowers and made this into a tuck spot for the envelope.

I hope you like my project, it just shows what you can achieve when
you have the most wonderful papers to play with.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Heavenly Tilda shaker shadow box card!!

Good morning my dears,  I hope you are all keeping warm and cosy now
that the weather has changed!! It's so cold here in Scotland so I'm
going into hibernation mode and staying in my craft room!!! lol

Today I want to share another Christmas card with you and again I've made
a double shadow box with a shaker element on the front using sweet
Heavenly Tilda.  I haven't used acetate for the front of my shaker
element, instead I've used a very fine mesh which means the beads and
don't stick to the acetate which can be ver static.

I coloured Tilda with Distress Re-inkers and used some
Stampendous frantage around her.

The inside of the card has to shadow box elements and I made a little winter scene
on the right hand side using Selfie Tilda coloured with distress re-inkers and fussy cut
out so I could stand her in front of the Doohickey Fence die and the sweet
die cut Christmas trees.  I added a couple of die cut clouds just for effect.

The left hand box has a pocket to hold a couple of Doohickey vintage
gift tags and a small envelopewhich could hold either
a gift card or money.

My poinsettia are hand made using Foamiran and Rosy Owl dies, the foliage behind
are all dies from LadyE designs.

I added some clear glass crystals to the edges of the flower and white stamens to the centre.

Thank you So much for popping in to visit with me, I really appreciate
you taking the  time out of your busy day.   Wishing you all a fab day ahead

3 of the cute deer out and place them on the bottom left hand corner of the card.
